OUR HISTORY
Clinical Skills USA, Inc. (CSUSA) was founded in 2004, by Scott George, MLIR, in response to requests from multiple medical, nursing, and physician assistant schools in Atlanta, GA, who were seeking the support of trained GTAs and MUTAs for instruction of the female gynecological and male urogenital examinations.
In 2005, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia campus, was the first school to contract with CSUSA for services that involved the recruiting, training and referral of GTAs and MUTAs for the school’s initial instruction of the female gynecological and male urogenital examinations.
CSUSA presently employs approximately 25 experienced GTAs and MUTAs in teaching the female gynecological and male urogenital exams to thousands of students each year at over 40 medical, nursing, and physician schools and medical residency programs throughout the U.S. Instructional services are also offered to practicing clinicians through various continuing education programs.
Today, Mr. George serves as Executive Director of Clinical Skills USA, Inc. He has over 40 years of varied training experience, and began personally teaching the clinical male urogenital exam in 2002. He also spent sixteen years employed as a Standardized Patient Educator for the Clinical Skills Evaluation Collaborative (National Board of Medical Examiners and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) in the administration of the United States Medical Licensing Exam, Step 2CS.
